Richard Saris
Richard founded Sunset Development Group after decades of experience in construction, real estate, and residential development. With more than 40 years in the industry and over 30 years developing homes throughout Greater Boston, Richard brings a deep understanding of both the building process and the local market. His experience continues to shape Sunset’s approach to quality, execution, and long-term value.

Logan Saris
Logan focuses on operations, strategy, and the systems that support Sunset Development Group’s continued growth. After beginning his career in consulting, Logan brought that experience to Sunset, where he works across project planning, organizational strategy, and operational execution. His role helps ensure that the company’s projects are supported by the discipline and structure needed to deliver consistently at a high level.
Operations Lead
Scott Williams
Scott brings more than 10 years of experience in construction operations, with a focus on project execution, client coordination, and the details that carry a home from active construction through final delivery and beyond. At Sunset Development Group, Scott plays a key role in day-to-day operations while also serving as an important point of contact for clients after completion. His practical construction knowledge, responsiveness, and attention to follow-through help ensure that the client experience remains strong well beyond the closing table.

Michael Saris
Michael leads much of Sunset Development Group’s real estate, development, and design-driven work. With a strong focus on identifying opportunities, shaping projects, and carrying them from concept through execution, Michael plays a central role in the company’s development strategy and overall creative direction. His approach combines a developer’s understanding of value with a strong attention to architecture, materials, and the details that define each home.
Lead Designer
Cortney Hodgdon
Cortney creates elevated, thoughtful homes rooted in architectural design. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, she brings expertise in interior design, space planning, and detail. Before joining Sunset Development Group, Cortney spent five years with RH Boston designing high-end residential interiors. Her approach blends refined materials, architectural detail, and functionality to create sophisticated, cohesive homes that feel personal and enduring.
